As you all know now crackers are everywhere. They can crack our accounts using various methods and tricks so easily. So it is very Important for us to understand how to save our accounts from these crackers.
Before learning how to prevent your facebook account from hackers or crackers you must understand how a cracker steal or crack your account. There are number of techiniques which crackers use to crack accounts. I’ll just name the top 3 methods a cracker use, they are;
Phishing:-
In this method a cracker makes a fake login page. This fake Facebook login page which will looks exactly like the orginal Facebook login page. So the victim who see that fake page will enter his login information such as his mail Id and password. So the cracker have now the necessary information that he needed to enter an account. So he can use your password to enter your account without your permission. Let’s make it easy I will make it as small points which you can easily understand.
Step 1: The cracker makes a fake login page using HTML.
Step 2: Attacker will host it into internet as everyone host their website into inertnet.
Step 3: Attacker will post the link of his fake loging page that he created in ‘STEP 1’. For example, imagine that the Domain(web address) of attacker's fake page is www.fakefb.0fees.net , he will post it somewhere in facebook or he will message it to you.
Step 4: When you click that link you will be redirected to attackers fake login page.
Step 5: If you do not notice that it is a fake login page, You’ll enter your mail Id and password as you always do to enter your account.
Step 6: Cracker can then use the password you entered in ‘STEP 5’.
Now you understand how attacker cracked your password. So next you want to learn how to prevent it, right? No you don’t!....Why?? Because as you understand how cracker did it, you already learned how to prevent it. Yes I know you are brilliant. Anyway make it points to remember it.
- Don’t click any unknown links or links from strangers.
